Valvoline Drive Train Transmission Oil is a heavy duty powershift transmission and drive train lubricant designed and recommended for applications requiring oils meeting the Caterpillar TO-4 specification and Allison C-4 specification. They also meet the requirements of ZF TE-ML03 for use in ZF torque converter transmissions in city buses, off-road machines, lift trucks, specialty vehicles and other such equipment. The oils are formulated from premium base stocks and a select additive system to meet the challenging demands of modern equipment. It provides friction material and elastomer compatibility, while guarding against gear wear, rust and corrosion, foaming and oxidation. Valvoline Drive Train Transmission Oil is designed for transmissions and drive trains only and should not be used as an engine oil. The SAE 10W and SAE 30 grades are approved as Allison C-4 fluids, approval# C4-17001192 and C4-16991192.

Suitable for all metals for machining operations where emulsifiable oil are normally used. The recommended concentration is between 5 to 10 % depending on the severity of machining. Sometimes used successfully for even grinding operations

Castrol Alpha SP product range are premium quality extreme pressure type industrial gear lubricants meeting most demanding requirements of new generation gear drives of heavy industrial machinery. These oils are blended from solvent refined base stocks with specially selected sulphur phosphorous type additive package to impart extreme pressure and anti wear characteristics .The product range have excellent thermal stability, low foaming and good demulsibility characteristics.

Castrol Alpha SP gear oils are designed to meet lubrication requirements of enclosed gear drives of industrial machinery working under heavy to shock load conditions. These oils can also be used for lubrication of chain drives, sprockets, flexible couplings, plain and roller bearings. The recommended maximum bulk fluid temperature is approximately 100 - 110'C. However continuous operation at this temperature may reduce service life of the oil. The products are not recommended for gear drives with brass / bronze components.
